The player is flexible and can play in any position in a back three. He has experience playing in the middle for Switzerland and is open to playing wherever the coach asks.
Akanji is also looking forward to working with Swiss teammate Yann Sommer at Inter. Sommer has offered to help Akanji settle in and they will be in touch soon.
