Mbeumo, who was signed by Manchester United for £70m, did not play in the 2-1 victory.
Amorim stated that Mbeumo is still getting used to the team's training and is not ready to play just yet.
"Bryan is starting slowly," Amorim said. "He is not going to play in the next one."
However, Amorim is hopeful that Mbeumo will be back in action for the team's final game in the United States.
Amorim also provided updates on two other players who were absent from the match. Striker Joshua Zirkzee is recovering from a minor injury, while fullback Noussair Mazraoui was out due to a knock.
