Cascarino thinks Watkins is struggling because he no longer receives the same level of service he had at Villa and has also been affected by interest from bigger clubs.
Cascarino stated, "When Ollie Watkins was dropped against PSG twice, everyone thought he would return to the starting lineup."
However, Watkins only played for 15-17 minutes in the following game at Villa Park, where Villa played well, but he was left out of the starting lineup.
Watkins had achieved incredible success at Villa prior to this issue, scoring many goals and helping the team reach the Champions League.
Cascarino believes Watkins' head was turned by the interest from other clubs, including Arsenal, and he didn't receive loyalty from his club or manager.
As a result, Watkins may have felt he was no longer valued or necessary at Villa.
Some people may advise Watkins to simply move on and show what he can do, but Cascarino thinks the lack of service from his teammates, particularly with the departure of Jacob Bailey, makes it difficult for Watkins to score goals on a regular basis.
