Following a preseason trial with the team, Ashby-Hammond has agreed to join Plymouth Argyle for the upcoming season.

Plymouth's head coach, Tom Cleverley, praised Ashby-Hammond's calm and focused personality, saying he fit well into the team during their preseason training in Austria.

Cleverley also noted that Ashby-Hammond impressed the team with his skills on the training ground, and that he adds depth to the club's goalkeeping department.

David Fox, the head of football operations, echoed Cleverley's sentiments, saying Ashby-Hammond has a lot of potential and room for growth.

Fox also mentioned that Ashby-Hammond has league experience, but is still young and eager to learn, which makes him an exciting prospect for the team.
