Brighton was asking for a high price for their midfielder, Carlos Baleba. He is considered one of the best young players in the Premier League, and the club wanted more than £100 million for him.
Manchester United has not considered Sevilla's alternative option, Lucien Agoume, yet. They want to strengthen their midfield, but are looking at other players for now.
Sevilla wants €30 million for Agoume, which is lower than his release clause of €40 million and less than what Brighton was asking for Baleba.
